Professor Norman Sartorius has been described as “one of the most prominent and influential psychiatrist”. Hi is a former director of the WHO Division of Mental Health, and a former president of the World Psychiatric Association and of the European Psychiatric Association. He is best known for his work on stigma and discrimination as well as  improving mental health services worldwide.

Sir Graham Thornicroft is a British psychiatrist, researcher and professor of community psychiatry at the Centre for Global Mental Health and Centre for Implementation Science at King’s College London.He is best known for his work on community mental health services, stigma and discrimination, and global mental health.

Hana Kafková – Lived Experience Chair

Hana Kafková is an expert by experience working as a destigmatization specialist at the National Institute of the Mental Health, Czech Republic. She is also involved in transformation of psychiatric hospitals, which is a process pursued in the context of the Czech mental health reform. Hana graduated from Palacky University with master degree in Law and she also studied international law in La Rochelle, France.

Petr Winkler – General Chair

Dr. Petr Winkler is a researcher and a head of the Department of Public Mental Health, National Institute of Mental Health, Czech Republic. He has been leading the Czech anti-stigma program On the Level as well as other nationwide projects related to the implementation of the Czech mental health reform.
